New development work starting in KC

Hi all –

This is a reminder that Preston’s contractor will begin some more development work in Kitts Creek around the end of the month / beginning of next. You’ll see construction equipment and contractors in and out. Again, the work being done is:

- A new pump station
- Development of Aventon Lane (perpendicular to the end of Somers Dr.)
- Completion of Somers Drive itself and the alley for Somers Dr.

The work is due to be completed by the end of 2010.

Although it is a bummer that it will be noisy and messy out this way again, at least this is coinciding with the work on the parkway so we can get through the noise and dirt all at once. They started the heavy equipment on the Parkway project again today before 7 AM – how nice it will be when that is over!
